Botanical Name - Phaseolus radiatus

----- Cultivated mostly on the Mahratwara side. The seeds are nutritious and fattening. The straw is considered to be an excellent fodder. They are also used medicinally in paralysis, rheumatism and afflictions of the nerve system, fever, piles and in liver complaints and cough (Kirtikar).
