Stamens 2, inserted on and included in the Corolla-tube; filaments usually short. Ovary free, 2-celled; ovules 1-2 in each cell; style short or long; stigma simple or 2-lobed. Fruit a dehiscent capsule or berry or drupe; seeds solitary or 2 in each cell.
