Botanical Name - Crotolaria retusa

----- A robust undershrub, 4-6 ft. high, with stout but fleshy striated branches. Leaves simple, 1 1/2-3 in. long, short stalked, oblanceolate-oblong, cuneate at teh base. Racemes laxly, 12-20-flowered ; pedicles shorter that calyx. Calyx 3/8 - 1/2 in. ; teeth lanceolate. Corolla nearly twice calyx, yellow tinged with purple. Pod linear-oblong, 1-1 1/2 in. long, 15-20-seeded.
