Botanical Name - Chloris incompleta

----- Perennial grass with erect or often procumbent culms, up to 2 ft. high, cylindrical, smooth, glabrous. Leaf-sheaths cylindrical, smooth glabrous, jairy at the mouth ; blades 20 in. long., flat, linear, tapering to a fine point, glabrous, or slightly hairy. Inflorescence a terminal whorl of 4-6 spikes, 4-10 in. long, at the top of a long naked peduncle. Spikelets awned seated on one side on the under surface of a scabrid, filiform rachis, crowded and imbricating. Inflorescence often glacous or purplish.

----- A scattered plant noticed in comparative shady places in Pakhal, Singaram and Mulug reserves or the State probably elsewhere also.
