Botanical Name - Cheilanthes mysorensis

----- Roots very caespetose, fibres wooly ; stipe of frond short, 1-2 in., slightly scaly below ; stipe as well as main rachises deep glossy-ebeneous ; fronds 9 in. or more, narrow-oblong, acute, tapering below due to gradual diminishing in size of pinnae, very small, oblong-obate, frequently opposite, the upper half pinatified, pinules or segments linear oblong, flat, toothed or pinnatified into lobes, Sori or each tooth or lobe subconfluent, small whitish, suborbicular.
