Rhizome creeping, scaly
; scales in tufts, hair pointed ; stipe up to 10 in., reddish
brown, glabrous, covered below with white margined lanceolate
scales, fronds deltoid to deltoid-lanceolate ; when young, covered
beneath with lanceolate brown scales and whitish or yellowish
powder, glabrous when old axcept rachises and cosae ; lower pinnae
half deltoid. Indusium lacerate margined.

This species resembles C. farinosa,
but differs in that, (a) it is small in habit, (b) fronds are
smaller, more lanceolate than triangular, (c) has pale margined
scales on the stipe, rachises and costae and (d) the indusium
is much lacerated.

It is found in the State in Purantapalli Paloncha.
