A shrub with silvery
grey Bark studded with
prominent but small lenticels. Flowers
large, orange or bright yellow pedicles more than twice the length
of flower. Filaments bright red, twice the length of petals. Pod
straight, linear-oblong, flat.

S hsndsome shrub common in gardens
and waste plants with flowers resembling those of the Poinciana
regia, but smaller. Home unknown. Flowers nearly at
all seasons.
