An immense climber,
Leaflets acuminate,
thin and flexible ( chartaceous ). Flowers
larger than those of B. frondosa, of a gorgeous colour.

The flowers and leaves are scarcely
distinguishable from those of B. frondosa, from which is
differs mainly by its scandent habit, not by any botanical character,
and like it, it also gives a gum-kino. Very common in most of
the forests, less so in the Mahratwara districts. It is very destructive,
climbing over the tallest, trees, and requires to be cut. Flowers
March and April.
