Plants from 8-12 in. Stipe 2-4 in., tufted wiry, dark reddish
brown to dark blackish brown, tomentose Fronds 6-8 in. long, simply
pinnate, tip elongated like a straight tendril, rooting when buried.
Pinnae sessile wedge shaped at the base, deeply cut into several
narrow spreading lobes. Surfaces hairy. Texture leathery ; sori
on the edge of the lobes, nearly round.

Found in the hills of Amrabad ( Mahaboobnagar ) and probably elsewhere
as well.
